Description:

Relational-based assessment asks students to demonstrate their knowledge and learning as part of a group or cooperative effort.

Purpose:

The primary mode of this assessment is meaningful person-to-person relating and effective teamwork, including such things as reflective listening, trust of teammates, encouragement and support of others, division of labor, empathy, building consensus, and transcending self-interest for the sake of the team.
